SSC Results Today: How Quick one can get results (now & then) ? Well, today the 23rd May, SSC results of Goa Board declared at 11 am.
During my time, one has to wait until next day for print edition for which copies of the same were always in short supply. We used to get up early in the morning to get one newspaper copy (Then, just one i.e. NT, now NT, H & GT), we never got one due to the newspaper agents favouritism etc If result are declared say on Friday, it would appeared on Newspaper on next day i.e. Saturday and the mark sheets etc were ready by Monday. Also, newspaper will only give those seat/roll numbers who are being declared successful in the examinations under different catagories like PASS Class, SECOND Class, FIRST Class And DISTINCTION. If your No. is missing then your are most likely 'FAILED'. Whether we passes or not, we could not wait to see what markes we got in each subject or what subject we failed etc for which one had to wait for up to 4 days. Gone are the days where one had to depend on Newspapers or wait for days for results/marksheets etc. Today, all you have to do is send a simple text message (on the very first day- Every Goan household got at least two mobiles phones) Fridday after 11am as in abv case. e.g. if your Seat/Roll No. say 25009, you just type the foll. GB10 25009 (send it to) 7333 (GB10 could be GOA BOARD 10th STD) There you go...you get the result instantly, it wont just tell you whether you passes or not but it will give the Mark sheet with foll full datails too: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 25009 Name: REBELLO ADWISTON JONESROY ENG: 60 HIN: 65 KON: 70 MAT: 84 SCI: 119 SOC: 104 TOT: 502 RESULT: PASSES GRD: FIRST +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ How do they do that ? (I don't know). Cost of SMS Rs.3. What more ? If you are just curious about your next door neigbour son or daughter (who you never see eye to eye), and if you know the No. you can get their results right on to your mobile too. And if he or she fails in say ENGLISH, just stay out in your garden and say lounder typical 'halam' - ' SHI BABA, ENGLISHA PASUN FAILU, KESO LOZU...' Alternately, results may also be seen on the same day on the net for which one has to have a PC at home or go to the cybercafe. The results would be be available on www.indiaresults.com and www.goaresults.com.
