STATUS OF TRAINS RUNNING LATE DUE TO HEAVY RAINS
The heavy rains are continuing in the Konkan region. Rainfall of 20 cm
is forecast in Ratnagiri region over Konkan Railway route in next 2
days. As much as 614 mm rainfall occurred in Ratnagiri region in last
24 hrs, with a rainfall of 180 mm in just one hour. This is the record
rainfall in the region in last few years.
Konkan Railway has set up helpline number for passengers : 10722 (3 lines).
The status of various trains over Konkan Railway route at this hour is as below:
1) 2051 Janshatabdi Exp of 1st June likely to leave at right time
2) 0103 Mandavi Exp of 1st June – likely to be rescheduled
3) 0111 Konkankanya Exp of 31st May – likely to be rescheduled to
0300 hrs of 1st June
4) 0103 Mandavi Exp of 31st May – rescheduled to 1600 hrs
5) 0112 Konkankanya Exp of 31st May – rescheduled to 0600 hrs of 1st June
6) 2620 Matsyagandha Exp of 31st May – rescheduled to 0100 hrs of 1st June
7) 2619 Matsyagandha Exp of 31st May – rescheduled to 1945 hrs today
8) 6346 Trivandrum-LTT Netravati Exp of 30 May – taken over late
from Southern Railway by 6 hrs 35 mins and is running 7 hr 30 mins
late
