Viva Goa will soon be upon us. In it's 9th year of being celebrated at The
Downsview Hangar, we expect tickets to go quickly. Mark Saturday, July 29th on

Goan runs for City Councillor

A goan candidate, Patrick Mendes is running for municipal elections in
Mississauga's newly created Ward 10. See his profile below and visit his

upcoming elections.
Patrick spent most of his childhood in Etobicoke where he attended Michael
Power High School. He then graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor’s
Degree in Business Management.
For the past 16 years, Patrick has resided in Mississauga with his wife, twin
sons, and daughter. He joined the Public Service in 1990 and has held a
progression of positions in Program Administration and also as a member of the
Management Group.
Patrick enjoys many outdoor activities. He is an avid golfer and enjoys playing
a good game of cricket. He also enjoys music and reading. Patrick brings a
refreshing combination of dedication, enthusiasm and passion to all that he
undertakes.
