FOOTBALLER TIATRIST PATHETIC Indeed its very pathetic to read write-ups like the one - IRENE VAZ Footballer Tiatrist - which was published of late on 9th June, 2006 here on goanet. This article furnished an impressive biography of artiste, Irene Vaz who no doubt might have contributed her role to the Konkani stage for many years. Over and above, those who might have read the article were made known that she was a highly educated personality. Yet, another feather in the cap. A successful business lady, today, conveyed a message to fellow lady tiatrists to use her foot-steps for a better and prosperous living. Most important of all, we, without any efforts, were fortunate to find one more member of the charismatic movement on this universe. Many instances may have been brought to light in this article whether with good or dangerous intentions for the Konkani artistes. The article also advises the artistes that they should prove the Konkani stage, an educative one. Our lovely Konkani audience if they agree, who might have watched and heard the springing superstar of today, Jose Rod had a sound message with moral values in almost every song and drama that flows out of his God gifted talent. If we, have been listening to his music and songs, lyrics of which even, praise the work of several fellow tiatrists and those who are no more with us, as well. Kudos to such rich tributes paid by him to the many talented artistes among us. Descending on the commandment which seems to have been introduced in Kuwait, according to the article, it is very pathetic of such petty and inferior allegations being published in a world of today. Here, comes the actual destruction or we could call it fuelling the fire for creating differences among our wonderful artistes. Mind you, this is being done by highly educated scholars. In fact, this article is one of a kind which has tried to encroach the Konkani stage and its artistes. Its a kind of virus which should not affect other super stars who are so dear to us. Their invaluable contribution cannot be forgotten easily. Even, if it is a matter of fact, there are charismatic and God fearing ways of handling and solving situations, if any. There is a saying in our beautiful mother tongue kaddiecho dongor korcho nhoim. Moreover, its just a guess, if this one, also applies - you need two hands to clap. Hats off to our many tiatrists who have the bonds of brotherhood which has always lead to a healthy team-work and excellent performance results. Coming to the destruction of tiatros and tiatrists, it is beyond power of thought that Jose Rod and all our tiatrists who are based overseas, will ever have such a least approach. Such statements need a thought before spoken, because no matter what hurdles and difficulties are faced, being in a place, not ours, these tiatrists are still doing a wonderful job. While we shouldnt forget the tremendous contribution of tiatrists like Jose Rod to the Konkani entertainment, for which he was also rightly honoured in the last annual event called OSTAD TIATRIST held in Kuwait in February, 2006 organised by the Kuwait Goa Tiatristanchi sonvstha. A well deserving Jose Rod like other tiatrists who was felicitated b y the committee for his immense hard work even after respectfully working overseas. Mind you, again, this is indeed spade work when you are not in your own home town where you gain support and facilities, available much more at ease. We were few of those lucky ones who could watch Jose Rod perform recently in Muscat with this ever green, heart throbbing performance along with many renowned artistes like Lorna, Succourine, Comedian Domnic and his brother. Having performed in various pats of the entire gulf region, he was even invited to perform in Europe recently where a warm response awaited from the talent loving audience. Why that, the last releases of Jose Rod, Tujem Nanv Vhodd Zanv and NOMAN is an excellent entertainment of its own class. Musical notes are extremely unique. Thanks to our musicians for that splendid task. Among the excellent cast, is a well known director, Roseferns. Who can forget him? It is an universal fact that Jose Rod has acted with many popular tiatrists and vice-versa. They have glittered the Konkani stage with passion throughout, for a long time. Besides acting, he has written and directed tiatrs in which many tiatrists have joined hands and produced unique stuff in the world of Konkani entertainment.
