Yes, I am interested in trading/investment in stocks, but only Indian and not
any other overseas market.
I think we should try to wean away Goans from their Bank deposit mentality,
wherein the earnings are just about enough to catch up with inflation, and
introduce them to the world of stocks, if not directly at least through the
mutual funds route.
I think the present time and more so if the tock market indices dip further,
then it would be ideal to start looking at the stock market for decent returns.
Historically over a period of time, stock markets have given the highest
returns.
On a lighter note, Goans will not be able to complain about bhaile's
businesses being financed by banks by virtue of their fixed deposits !!
