What do these following  have in common ???

NEURIO (Usually Xmas time: Half moon shape with mix fillings inside)

BEBINCA (round or square dish with plenty of layers)

DODOL  (usually Xmas time: sort of halva but dark colour due to use of Coconut
jaggary 'madam godd')

BOLINHAS (small round shape made of rawa and coconut)

GHONS (sugar coated small slices of tender coconut put on small small white 
paper)

PINAGR(I) (dark brown made from baked rice and jaggary)

DOS  ( usually in diamond shape- with coconut and 'chana dal')

KORBOLAM (Usually Xmas Time: bow tie shape or twisted shape)

BATK  (sort of cake with Rawa and coconut)

MANGAD / PERAD (sort of jam made from mangoes / Guava)

PONSA SATTAM (made from jack fruit and put/spread on a 'pimpal' leaves, Mango 
Sattam
also made)

PATOLLIO or PATOYO (Usually in August: spread on 'patolle pan' Turmeric leaf 
with
coconut/jaggary filling in side-either baked or steamed)

Well, let me give you answers this time...

- They are all sweet dishes
- They are all Goan traditional  Delicacies
- They are all available readymade for sale on shops etc

Its only Rs.5 each and sold like hot cakes. 
It is real 'patollio' except the 'patolle pan' where 'kelli pan' (banana leaf) 
used
instead.
Only available after 3pm but by 7pm all are gone.

I could hear how other non-Goans pronouce this 'Ek Bhaji puri, ek Chaa aur ek
Patolii'

When I tried one for the first time, it reminded me of my mother who used to do 
this
at home on August 5 every year. Every time I visit Panaji, we do visit this
'Everest' near market/old El Dorado.
