Dear Darling Gilbert, The first thing you should stop doing is using the slash when you refer to atheists and agnostics. There is a difference between the two. The words are not synonymous.
An Agnostic simply acknowledges that it the beyond the realm of our current knowledge to know anything about either the presence or absence of a Deity. He then further assumes to himself that (i) either this knowledge is irrelevant to his life, or (ii) that it is relevant. If it is the latter, he continues to gather information of interest. For myself, I am of the latter variety. Having said that, I know some of you have been kind as to send me private emails about how Jesus and the Holy Spirit can save my soul. I appreciate the concern but my soul is quite beyond redemption I assure you.
