Congratulations to the www.goa-world.com team, they have won the World Cup Goan
sweepstakes, their
team was Italy. They have supported many Goan causes over the years in a
variety of ways. I have
personally witnessed their support and they have done much and continue to do a
lot for Goa and
Goans. They have always been there when asked for help, I recall the help they
gave in founding
World Goa Day and many other instances too. In fact, they have donated their
prize money in the
World Cup Goan sweepsteaks to a Goan senior charity in Goa through Goa
Sudharop. Because of their
kindness and others who took part, all the money - a total of $640 was raised -
will be donated
(approximately Rs. 29,000).
