Dear floriano: what i said was that every political
party that was formed in india in order to uphold some
sort of regional identity has been a failure and now I
will provide you with some examples. AIADMK, DMK,MGP,
Shiv Sena,Haryana Vikas party ,SAD of punjab, Chandra
babu naidu TDP,AGP of aasam,JMM of jharkhand and so
on. All these parties have beebn reduced to personal
fiefdoms and have been extremely corrupt.Same hold
Now you will have to provide us with atleast a
single example of a political party that was founded
on the premise of regional/lingusitic/caste pride and
has provided non corrupt and good good governance. No
rhetoric pleaase,just names!
Regional or religious or lingusitic pride per se is
not a bad thing but when politicians appeal to these
sentiments in order to gain power the results turn out
to be horribly wrong.
As far as you idea of punishments go do you really
believe in implementing a wild west vigilante style of
justice without regards to due legal procedure? I must
tell you that if your ideal system of justice is the
one followed by colonialists like the portuguese then
you seriously need to revise your roadmap.
