Reliance Communications slashes overseas call rates Indo-Asian News Service
Mumbai, July 19 (IANS) Reliance Communications Wednesday slashed its international call rates by up to 66 percent for calls made using its Global Call Card. The new rates would enable Reliance customers to call all numbers in the US, Canada and Southeast Asian countries at Rs.4.50 per minute, while those to Britain on landline will cost Rs.6.00 and Rs.8.00 per minute on mobile. In the case of calls to the Gulf countries the rate has been fixed at Rs.8.00 per minute, while those to Australia and New Zealand have been lowered to one-third from Rs.18.00 per minute to Rs.6.00.
