Dear Joe, Since I enjoy reading your posts and think that you are a person in good standing, I take note of what you've written. However, I now pose this question in general.
Is it religious intolerance to pose one's own views on religion. Perhaps in this questioning of religious faith, one even tends to become critical of religion. In this case, I too have been intolerant of the Catholic faith because I've asked one too many questions of the Church's stand on several issues. However, I do not think I have ever been disrespectful of the Church and would be the first to defend its right to exists were that right to be threatened. During the course of my writings, I will no doubt also question several Muslim practices or Hindu practices which are abhorrent to me. I don't necessarily think that this makes me intolerant of people's religious affiliations. Just practices carried out in their name. I'll leave the past be where it is, buried in the archives and hope that we can all start afresh.
