Vasco/Varca/Macazana Murder Case: Update Vasco Murder Case: Dr.Verenkar was kidnapped and later murdered by his son-in-law on January 17, 2005. The hearing of this murder case was to begin on 16th June 2006. This case is currently taken up by the court and still going on at Vasco Court. Varca Murder Case: Where a senior bank lady manger Mrs. Philomena was murdered in her own (newly built) bungalow on the night of 3rd May 2006 The only suspect Mr. Tommy D' Cruz who was in the police custody, was finally released on bail few weeks ago. Macazana Murder Case: Where the parish Priest Fr. Eusebio Ferrao was murdred by his two UP guests Manish and Amit (see pic below) on 17th March this year.
