I would like to thank Elisabeth, Vivek, Aristo,
Cornel, George, Jose, RKN, Mervyn, Frederick, Bosco
and others who have replied on the "challenge" thread
or its offshoots, and offered their thoughtful and
courteous suggestions.
I think the contributions of the newcomers, namely
Jaswant Krishnayya, Aristo, Elisabeth and Vivek have
greatly enriched this forum. Despite my differences
with Mario and Gilbert I think they have interesting
and useful perspectives to share with us. I only hope
that we can exchange our views in a more amicable
manner in the future.
