Dear Rene,
It gives me great pleasure on behalf of Margao-Net
to congratulate all Goans the world over on this 7th
Anniversary of World Goa Day. It goes without saying
that it was only after your persistent efforts that
this came about.
This is a very important day for Goans for it gives
them an opportunity to reflect on this day on who they
are, their great cultural and historic heritage and to
teach and pass on to the next generation the great
Goan traditions orally.
Furthermore, the Day also affords an opportunity to
Goans outside Goa to gather and come together to
exchange views, news and to partake of Goan delicacies
which are made on such special occasions.

is long overdue and will go a long way to unite and
