Gabe,
The GOA usually makes $40,000+ from the Viva Goa every
year. Entry is $8.00 or $10 with 6,000 people
attending. Beers were $4.50 for a 300ml bottle.
Parking is free.
The current President, Oscar Furtado, has done a real
good job turning around the finances of the
association. He gets corporate sponsors for most
events and if I am not mistaken, has almost paid off
all the mortgage on the clubs property. The property
was bought at a time when real estate was at its
peaks. Real estate is at high points again and that
property has appreciated.
