This is one of the few WGD celebrations with substance which remains true to
the original idea of
WGD. Some of the other celebrations do not reflect the original idea of what
WGD is meant to be
but serve the publicity seekers well. I will write more later on this as time
permits.
BTW, as someone who was intimately involved in the founding of WGD, I consider
you one of the
founders with your help with song, along with Goa Sudharop and Goa World
(Gaspar and Uly). These
facts are not known nor is credit given where it is due, but I am acutely aware
of what transpired
over the first few years and what it took to make it happen. Goans have a habit
of going around
taking credit, but it is important to also give it when due. With that thought,
thank you for all
you have done.
