Thanks for the Grant Road Info, which I know for the first time that it was
named
after Sir Robert Grant..

I remember watching the Tiatr 'Grant Road' but I don't think it was 'A'
certificate.

Later on, I also remember, another Tiatr by the same Director 'Papa ega e canta
e
bero' which was not as popular as 'Grant Road'
Excuse my portuguese (sort of Portuguese saying 'parrot sings...?) Can any one
throw
some lights ?

Another "A" Cetificate Tiatr was Mike Metha's "Grant
Road". I heard that only 18+ years were allowed inside
the hall and Betty (Naz or Ferns) palyed the main role
in this tiatr.

ABOUT GRANT ROAD - MUMBAI
Grant Road, named after Sir Robert Grant, who was
the Governor of Bombay between 1835 and 1839, is a
railway station on the Western Line of the Mumbai
suburban railway. One of Mumbai's biggest red light
districts, Kamathipura, is located on Falkland Road,
very close to the railway station. Grant Road is also
home to Mumbai's electronics and computer hardware
wholesale market along Lamington Road.
