I was saddened to note that the annual open air dance ended abruptly with the
Toronto Police attending in a keystone cops manner was there a need for such a
reaction or was it a setup.In Bombay a lathi charge could be expected, In Goa
probably one hefty policeman with a note book saying kithem, at the UK Goan
festival we have guest managers on the committee who would be the first point
of contact before any police action. Sure we have had our contribution of
trouble in the parking lot here in Croydon England, adding our communitys
name to the records of the west indian, Ghanians, Nigerians like juviniles
looking for a brawl. Thankfully this is all in the past and I hope will stay
that way. A credit to our community here in the uk with over 3k people of all
ages participating we have had no trouble for a while
