Maybe I am not upto speed on current Political happenings in Goa, but
how realistic is the possibility of Pacheco becoming the CM? The last
time I heard, it was the dreaded viscous viper of Talegao, Babush
Monserrate that was eyeing the chair, and had set in motion his plans
to acheive that goal within a couple of years, if not sooner. That is
the real danger, my fellow goans, for if he becomes the CM, that will
be the end for Goa as we know it.
Given the current cess pool of Goan politics, my solution whould be a
BJP COALITION government, with the coalition partners keeping a check
on communalism, who should withdraw support should secularism be even
slightly threatened. That is the only way Governance and secularism
can go hand in hand (along with the inevitable corruption of course)
rather than Corruption, lethargy and secularism.
