Dear Santosh,
The statistics you provided confirmed what many netters had initally stated,
that the parameters used by Gilbert to promote his argument are nonsensical
and bogus.
Unfortunately, Gilbert keeps changing the "GIST" of his post. First it was
"ancient v/s modern", then "traditional v/s modern in the same country" and
now it has changed to "traditional (read 3rd world) v/s USA". I wish he
would make up his mind!!
To bolster his case he further uses esteemed publications such as the
enrichment journal, LA Times articles with no references and hearsay on the
discovery channel.
As you will soon see, when he is proved wrong(yet again!) he will use cheap
shots, personal insults and accuse others of misinterpreting the GIST of his
posts.
Regarding the ridiculous assertion that "The absence of children leads to
loneliness and weariness", I can only laugh. I would like to ask fellow
netters who are parents whether feeling lonely was one of the prime reasons
for them having children?? My grandmother comes from a family of 18 siblings
and my mother from a family of 8.... they confirm that their parents were
definitely weary.
