Also the intent to kill is also a crime which comes under CONSPIRACY to commit murder and has to be backed by evidence that the suspct indeed planned to commit murder. My two cents on the Abraham case: he could be tried for attempted murder.> Dear Vivek, I really doubt that the term CONSPIRACY which I am advised is an "inchoate" crime, is applicable when there is only ONE person involved. If I remember the Biblical story wrt Abraham/Isaac, I really doubt that "attempted murder" charge would stick......today. Most folks (and Santoshbab can correct me if I am wrong) who in these days claim that God is commanding them to Kill someone else ..... are (I believe) likely to be acquitted of the charges .... and then found Free Board and Lodge for life ..(in the UK) courtesy our dear ELizabeth. good wishes jc please visit "NEW" on The Goan Forum at http://www.colaco.net Recommended Goa related sites 1. http://www.goa-world.com 2. http://www.SuperGoa.com _______________________________________________ Goanet mailing list [email protected] http://lists.goanet.org/listinfo.cgi/goanet-goanet.org
