He is with the CSIR institution, National Institute of Science, Technology and Development Studies, New Delhi. To quote from their website: "National Institute of Science, Technology and Development Studies, New Delhi is devoted to a study of various aspects of interaction among science, society and state." Gauhar spoke about how science and religion interact and had a number of interesting points to make.
