Hi Sunith The incidence re the student attacked in the UK are relatively rare. The UK and places like London used to be incredibly safe all hours of day and night. However, a change has taken place in recent years but it is no different to other European cities. Please do not be alarmed. When you arrive here, please give me a call on 01689 820501. I will gladly meet you and share some tips with you. However, the Bow Street tube station area to which you had referred earlier, is not the best of locations in London, late evening, and now that you have asked, I would be irresponsible not to draw your attention to this. I repeat, there is no need to be alarmed, but just aware.
