I am grateful to my mum and dad for what they did for me. However, I think
mums and dads all over the world should be honored and not on one day alone.
When I was growing up in Bandra, Mumbai we did celebrate Mother's Day on July
26 and Father's Day on March 19. I am referring to our local church where we
faithfully attended the Novena preceding the feast to pray for our parents.
I think gratitude can be expressed in small ways throughout the year, not just
on one day!
