The other day I was talking to a friend of mine whose family came from Agassaim (I hope I have the name spelt correctly). He had been back to his home town just to see what the place looked like. While there, someone mentioned to him that there is a talk about a steel bridge being built on the Zuari river, so that the restrictions on the present bridge can be relaxed. However, he also mentioned that there is a worry about the increase in the traffic through the town of Agassaim, and a fear that the road will not be able to handle the increase.
Does anyone know whether there have been traffic studies done, and its impact on the various towns on the way? Also, is there is a programme of make a bypass of the Agassaim town in connection with the bridge?
