Ministers did say that the New 2-lane Steel Bridge will be ready in 4 months.
Nearly 2 months gone by now, not even foundation stone laid.
It was also said the new bridge would be 700mtrs long and 7.5mtrs wide and cost
Rs.40 crore.
This was disclosed while the assembly house was in session last July.
It was also said, same time, that all vehicles up to 12 tones to be allowed by
Aug End. We are
now in September and the restrictions still apply.

As for the bypass (Agassaim - Dandddo-Zuari etc fields) linking to Banbolim (I
think) is still
pending the reasons best known to out Ministers. However, all land acquisition
was done and
the tenants were even paid for their field/land about 15 years ago.

The health minister also said that the new modern hospital in Margao would be
ready in two
years but still not even land acquisition process started.

What should be their priorities ?
Hospitals, bridges etc or IT Parks, Casinos etc ?

Can we really trust these ministers ?

Another perfect reason to kick out all such ministers out of the house.

But who will really bell the cat ??

When the horse is thirsty, one can only take the horse to the pond and not the
other way
round.

I guess the money power that rules and the present going rate, I understand, is
Rs.5000 per
vote. Imagine, in a house of 5 adults members, it could be Rs.25,000 each
election.

And who knows ? Forthcoming election the rates could be even higher.

Ministers do anything for their chairs/seats
And it seems, voters do anything for money. And when I say voters, I don't
necessarily target
the one third (migrants) of the total electorates.. Money greed is every where.

Goa situation is very bad, and in view of above, it won't surprise me to see
almost all the
old dogs and power hungry ministers/MLAs back to power.

And who said pen is mightier than sword ?
