Hi Reena, Thank you for participating and sharing your feelings with us from Mumbai. (For those of us who don't know Reena, she's a journo with The Telegraph in Kolkata. Warm welcome.)
As someone long involved with Goanet, flogging the religion-atheism dead horse certainly wasn't why Goanet was started (or supported by so many posters and volunteers). Problem is, there are a lot of strongly-held views on both sides of this debate. Actually, I think, any topic turns "pretty sickening" when those debating it simply don't know when to graciously make their point and let go of a subject. Anything in excess is borning.--FN --------------- Reena Martins I fully agree with you on the fact that this whole religion bit on Goanet is, indeed, getting pretty sickening.. to put it mildly. I've even beginning to wonder whether it was the sole objective behind starting Goanet. Maybe its time our 'intellectual' companions sought a separate forum to settle scores and show one upmanship on topics related to Hitler (RIP) and the 'rock solid moral code'- with or without God (poor guy must be going red in the face reading these posts!). Would really give the rest of us a well deserved break. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Frederick Noronha http://fn.goa-india.org 9822122436 +91-832-240-9490 http://fredericknoronha.wordpress.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Goanet mailing list [email protected] http://lists.goanet.org/listinfo.cgi/goanet-goanet.org
