I think we were talking about two different issues. I was supporting
Selma's claim about the ORIGIN of the practice of celibacy while you
are discussing the CURRENT RATIONALE for celibacy, in such a case, I
agree with you that property inheritance concerns are long removed
from today's requirements for the Roman Catholic clergy.
