Rs.18 crore spent on Navelim roads: Faleiro
PANJIM, Sept 19: Minister for Education Luizinho Faleiro has said that
works to the tune of Rs.18 crore have been tendered for providing
facelift to roads in Navelim and its surrounding areas during the last
one year. [H]
Comment: I trust all those PWD contractors who felicitated Faleiro on
his recent birthday by taking out Newspaper adverts in the local
dailies were first in line?
The Roads were so bad, that the locals in Colmorod had taken to
protesting on the Main High Road. Having been the beneficiary of RS 18
Crore those responsible should undertake to make good their shoddy
work!
