When you say "there has never been any consistency on
this topic" do you mean discussions swing both ways?
Besides talking about it, discussing it on forums and
voicing our unequivocal support for gay rights, what
do you want the larger heterosexual community to do?
Every minority community has to fight their own
battles and send their own generals to the forefront.
The gay community is not exempt from this rule of
engagement.
