NIRMONN, this Konkani Film was remade in Hindi with title 'TAQDEER' by Rajshri Production. And our Shalini Mardolkar who is seen main role in Nirmonn also did main role in TAQDEER. The same hindi movie was dubbed in seven other languages. Shalini also acted in KORA KAGAZ and SOLAKEM If AMCHEM NOXIB (1963) is the second Konkani Film and the NIRMON is third (1966), then the first one is MOGACHO AUNDO (1950) No.4 SUKACHEM SOPON (1967) No.5 MOJI GORKARN (1969) No.6 CORTUBANCHO SOUNSAR (1970) No 7 JIVIT AMCHEM OXEM (1971) No 8 BOGLANTT (1975) b/w No.9 MOG ANI MOIPAS (1977) -Colour No.10 BHUIERANTLO MUNIS (1977) Colour There are about 40 other Konkani films as on date (not including telefilms/Video/VCD).
