At first, I was not sure about the existence of Gilbert's "Goan grandmothers" cancer myth. Both my grandmothers were exceptionally knowledgeable and I, like most others here I presume, looked to my Goan grandmothers as a source of wisdom. Gilbert seems to have a different attitude towards Goan grandmothers as: 1) It now seems he used a "Goan grandmothers myth" that DOES NOT exist as his introduction to a post on cancer. 2) In another post, his description of a Goan wedding totally ignores the bride but, instead, focuses on the grandparents. To make this real clear, I have little respect for anyone who uses grandmothers as a source of amusement. Mervyn3.0 __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam?
