We could produce our very own Goan comedy show as a counterfoil to the BBC's Keeping Up Appearances.
Several writers have the potential to fill many of the supporting roles in a future series but the main role would undoutedly go to ........ drum roll Carmo Vaz - who would be a worthy competitor to Hyacith Bucket of Keeping Up Appearances with his classic "condo on the Miami Harbourfront with the 5 car garage" and the "gazing out on the Atlantic Ocean with a raw silk finely tailored and limited edition Goan Kashti". That would definitely beat Bucket's "invitation to my candlelit suppers with the Royal Doulton 40 piece fine bone china and biscuits made with private appointment to Her Majesty the Queen". Keep it up Carmo, you always keep me in stitches probably without intending to, unlike Cecil Pinto who makes efforts to make us laugh and always succeeds.
