Bella, why invade someone's privacy? The YMCA International at Bombay Central provides clean and decent rooms and suites at reasonable prices which includes breakfasts and meals which are quite wholesome and tasty I assure you, if you have the time to dine there.
Their rooms and general services are commendable and their managers very co-operative and service oriented. They are located in the hub of the city, close or accesible to downtown and the suburbs by all modes of transporation. I stay there when I go to Bombay though I have all kinds of relatives who invite me to stay with them. I politely decline as I don't wish to have my movement or timings hampered by someone else's schedules. There are other 3 star hotels which are equivalent to North American inns like Quality, Howard Johnson and the like - all at reasonable prices. Just go on the net and you will get the necessary info. Call them rather than book online and you can sometimes get discounted prices if you are calling with adequate notice, which is key. Roland.
