Dear Editor would appreciate if my views are aired on your website. The levelling of the Posh Bunglow owned by the Swiss National at Betalbatim seems to have created a sense of pride among those who were involved in Bulldozing it. Wow what a nasty, hasty & evil job done.................
I am in a way glad that an initiative of that magnitude has taken place however, I would like to Question the same authority that undertook this task of knocking down a bunglow which was built in 2000 as to why it took them almost SIX years to act on the irregularities which they claim which lead to the bulldozing? At this stage I would like to Question the Authorirties starting from the Town Planning How did they approve this Bunglow from the set back point of view ? I would like to Question the local Panchayat how they passed the occupancy certificate for this Bunglow? Well there are so many questions that I will have & for which there will not be a justifiable answer.......It is really unfortunate that the Swiss national had to pay a price for the corruption in our system but what about those who were involved in passing this project ? What about the Five star hotels that have encroached the so called " High tide line" Why does the Municipality not send the Bulldozers there too ? It's unfortunate that the Swiss national had no political pull & thus met this watery grave. It's evident from the polls which have been listed on the Herald that it is because of lack of Political pull that this Bunglow was demolished. What a shame.
