And may I add, Johnson (Joaozinho Carvalho) played
alongside Prof. Lourencinho Menezes in the Orquestra
Sinfonica de Goa of those days, as also the bass
player whose name I cannot recollect at the moment.

Tuna Sparks was led by Bondo's older brothers,
Lourenco and Timoteo, if I am not mistaken. Then of
course came the Beat 4 (Remo, Alexandre, Lobato Faria
et al), but as one of my cousins remarked at the time,
the Beat 4 had only one beat - rock 'n roll; whereas
Johnson had waltzes, tangos, fox-trot, samba, rhumba
etc. And J&JB could play where there was no electrics,
such as in the villages of the time.

Cheers,

Gabriel.
