United Friends Club (UFC)
7-a-side Football Tournament:
The "Friends Cup" 7-a-side football tournament will be held on second day of
Eid Al Fitr from 7:00 a.m. onwards at Sour Grounds, Kuwait City, organized
by United Friends Club (UFC)-Kuwait under the auspices of Kuwait Indian
Football Federation (KIFF).
The matches will be officiated by Indian Football Referees Association
(I.F.R.A.).
Mr. G.R. Crasto, a well known Goan in the social and sports circle based in
Bahrain, has kindly consented to be the 'guest of honour'. Mr. Gaspar
Almeida, General Secretary of the Goan Welfare Society (GWS)-Kuwait and
ex-Vice President/General Secretary of Kuwait Indian Football Federation
(KIFF), is among the special invitees for the tournament, according to an
official press note from the United Friends Club Managing Committee.
