Hi Goans,
  Gabriel said:

However, I do object when the Eucharistic celebration is mutilated by
substituting the core elements with something else. You may dress as you
wish within the bounds of modesty, and you may dance before but not during
offertory (as it draws attention away from the
main event), but I don't quite take to replacing the Eucharistic bread with
a chappati.

  --------
Jesus broke bread; was it Hovis bread or Soda bread with Sodium
bicarbonate?
If Jesus was in Goa he wud have broken Rice Bread with SURR.
If he was in Punjab NAN bread.

What's my problem? Bread is Bread, is chappaty not bread?

It is OK for a seminarian to bellow his lungs out and sing praise the Lord
in Latin.
But, not OK for and Indian to play a tabla and do a short dance, Indian
dance is not EROTIC, it depicts bird singing, rain falling, flowers
blooming, all this in a dance mode if only we can understand the meaning
behind the dance.

We should not be BNP or a coconut (brown outside and white inside).
DO NOT BE AFRAID OF CHANGE - If it is for the good of all the people.

  Edward.
