Dear Gonetters, This is with reference to Cecil Pinto's Lifetime Award Acceptance Speech. I am quite a fan of Cecil's and enjoy his pieces. I was quite disullusioned by this piece, however. He unnecessarily introduced an element of crassness in the essay, in trying to be smart alecky. Come, come Cecil just be your natural witty self, we prefer you that way.
