Dominic-- I have been out of India for some time and Robin Vaz used to occasionally come across the meanderings of my past. I now learn from you that he is gone. Very sad! I met him just once at a picnic in Versova, Bombay. He left an indelible mark! A big guy with an impressive physique and a very charismatic personality! Full of life and a bon vivant! We downed a few together with others of likeminded companionship. We need more like him -- unassuming and down-to-earth even when he had so much to show off if he chose to!
BTW your last posting about the wedding ceremonies and dances was sensational and evoked memories. I shall look forward to more Goa nostalgia from you. You are a treasure!
