Hi Gabe Many thanks for the Telegraph article. Unfortunately, I missed the TV programme featuring, among others, Lord Tebbit, the aptly nicknamed polecat from Chingford! I had seen some of the previous similar programmes and they were incredibly revealing to those tested and to others.
Minimally, I hope such tests provide a lesson to those among our Catholic Goans who have vacuous caste pretentions and are pretty confused about assumed mythical superiority. Clearly, we are all fairly mixed 'racially' as can be proven by modern DNA testing. When I had written an article a while ago in a Goan magazine about our origins from Central Africa, a few people responded with utter horror at the proposition. Many today cannot accept such a possibility even though there are updated anthropological versions about human origins in recent scientific papers. Do keep up the good work in this direction Gabe. As you do know, it is ever so close to my heart!
