As a Goanetter who has spent most of her life so far in the Gulf, I would just like to join Roland and Joseph in confirming that Sylvia has indeed made a very reasonable offer to her maid. Not only has she been fair, she is also willing to pay the "tax" that accompanies the employing of a maid in the Gulf. Many families employing maids, make the maid pay this "tax" from her own salary, which is onerous indeed.
I would also like to add that this is yet another example of how easy it is to spoil the name of good people on the net, engaging in speculation without knowing any facts and not incumbent on to provide any.
