We hear and read complaints, almost everyday, of benign neglect on the part of MLA's in Goa. Of nepotism and graft, untold wealth and power garnered over the years. One MLA even boasts that he is the State's biggest tax payer.
Election time comes and once again the same familiar faces are the winners ! Well the voters deserve what they get, you picks your choice and pays your price. ! It is almost the same here in London, Some Goans, who hold posts on Village organizations, past Presidents and Directors of Associations. They lie, put in false expenses and lo and behold, they are feted as the paragon of virtue...invited to perform in the pulpit... and will be holy Eucharistic Ministers on Sundays. What's wrong with out Goans ? They should wake up and revile the transgressors or at the very least, give them a slap on the wrist...else it is the same again...carry on with what you are doing; we really don't mind. -- DEV BOREM KORUM.
