Dears, There will be a memorial service for the former teaccher, Mr. John Parmar, at St. Mary's Convent HS on 01 Dec at 9.00 A.M. An advertisement to this effect has appeared in the NT today on page 8.
Our teachers have contributed a lot to who and what we are today. Every student should make it a point to tell them about it sometime before they are gone for good. The best time is NOW.....for sometimes tomorrow never comes. The Britto Old Boys are doing two things on 02 December evening. They are having a 'Get together' of the alumni and their teachers [specially those who have retired] along with the people from in and around Mapusa and releasing a compilatrion of stories about life in the school . Jesuit alumni from Loyola HS-Margao will also be there in a show of solidarity. Everything is set for the Britto's OBA organised DINE , DANCE & MORE and the release of the book "BRITTO'S RETRO -Voices and Notes in all Octaves" on Saturday 02 December, 2006. We have invited the Executive members of BMX to share the togetherness and to promote the BMX events among the people gathered, a majority of whom is also the target group of BMX. Together Everyone Achieves More. So let's get together as often as we can in as many fora as we can ....and do not forget to tell your teachers that you love them for what they made you, not just for what they did or made you do! Teacher's Day events are too cliche....too passe for this. Miguel Viva Goa.Say it with feni.
