Hi Sunith, I hope all is well and the Xacuti or Vindalo did not cause any indigestion. Well it turns out that after all the years of our friendship, there is still a little more to learn about my multi-faceted personality and skill-sets!
It is very unfortunate that during the your estranged years of junior college, you completely missed out on Aristo's Saturday Special Omlette Pao which the other "boyz" did not miss! It was a unique culinary delight where I served my omlette pao along with Chicken Xacuti gravy that my mother used to prepare every Saturday, and a "secret" ingredient. Now to counter your absurd falsehoods that you are propagating on Goanet that I haven't realised the importance of cooking, I have enclosed proof of my first time with Goan Sausage Peas Pulao: http://www.flickr.com/photos/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/312804337 The Sausages were a little burnt and the Pulao was a little dry, but the quantity of salt & spices were perfect. The very next Sunday, I managed to perfect my Pulao by adding more tomatoes and NOT burning the sausages by adding more water. Needless to say, I have a gift, which is yet to be unleashed to its full potential. Hopefully, very soon, I will be able to cook an exquisite romantic dinner for my girl. Girls dig that, as I have come to realise! And what is this you say that I live on outside food? Ok, ok, you are right about the Chinese food, but FYI, I now cook Fish Cutlecy at home which I have with Rice and Dal, but I have to admit that I buy readymade cutlets from the supertmarket. Cooking just takes too much time! Jokes apart, my comments early on this thread were light hearted, but while I was not trying to be sexist (even though a large number of my jokes are), I was also not trying to be politically correct. When are we going to accept the Men and Women are fundamentally different. Nothing prevents either gender from doing anything in particular, but we have are strengths and weaknesses, and different interests and priorities. So what I meant to see, STATISTICALLY, perhaps women are not really interested in debating foggies on Goanet, and will be more content spending their time doing something else. Cheers, Aristo.
