Dr Pedro Adao, consule General of Portugal in Goa, was a patron of the arts and had great ideas for its promotion.
On our few interactions in April when he just launched "Friday's at Six" with an exhibition by our photography group GoaPhotogs, he came across as a man with tremendous dynamism. His idea for use of the consulate courtyard as a cultural space with "Friday's at Six" was promising for young artists in Goa. That he should pass away so young is shocking. But I choose to see it as a reminder that life is short and must be lived to the full (attached image file). May his soul rest in peace.
