Ariosto and fellow-Goenkars can look forward to more jobs in Bangalore.
Airbus, the European aircraft maker, said Thursday that it planned to invest
$1 billion in India over the next decade to meet vigorous demand in the
fastest-growing air travel market in the world.
The company said it would spend $300 million in setting up a pilot-training
school and $250 million on an engineering unit, both likely to be located at
the Indian technology hub, Bangalore.
