Okay Prof. I'll stop doing that in 2007 :-)

Since cyberspace is all about being irrevential (I wouldn't dream of
misbehaving thus in any 'print' organisation) can I ask whether: (i)
it's because you don't like formality (ii) whether you don't normally
use the formal title (iii) whether you would just like it to be that
way in cyberspace.

Lest the others start wondering, let me share with all that though
Philip Thomas lives about 10-20 kms from me, in Goa itself, we've
never met in real-life. All I know is that he teaches/taught at the
Goa Institute of Management, which has been built up into one of the
institutions Goa needs to be proud of. (Strange, we never notice
positives!) Needless to say, I have a lot of respect for his work in
cyberspace ... specially his focus on Dabolim and related issues. I
immediately sent him a personal mail on noticing his return to Goanet
recently, welcoming him back. FN
