Since Cip is currently also in Goa, why don't you two guys just meet
up at the Azad Maidan and slug it out in a duel over who is 'gaunti'
and who isn't?

When I searched Merriam-Webster for the word, this is what I found:

The word you've entered isn't in the dictionary. Click on a spelling
suggestion below or try again using the search bar above.
Suggestions for gaunti:

         1. gunite
         2. gauntly
         3. gunites
         4. Gaunt
         5. go into
         6. Gondi
         7. Goyania
         8. goony
         9. gowany
        10. Goiania

And my computer keyboard isn't in Devanagari either (in any case,
there are hardly sufficient Konkani resources in cyberspace). Okay, so
who's contributing to the debate on Goanet? FN
