You may find the year-wise list of all who completed
their medical
studies
at Escola Medico-Cirurgica de Goa from 1846 till 1956
in the
commemorative
volume published by that institution in 1957 (Tip.
Rangel, Bastora), on
pages 188 ff. Starts with Pedro Gonzaga Augusto de
Melo from Raia
(Salcete)
and ends with Antonio Eduardo Agliardi Dias from Varc?
(Salcete), a
total of
1075 graduates. There follows a list of 454 graduates
in Pharmaceutical
studies for the same period.
>From the above doctors 92 pursued further training in
Portugal in
order to
obtain recognition of their degree in Goa. It was
required for
practising in
Portugal.
